Healing Support for Native Survivors of Crime
My clinical foundation is rooted in supporting youth and adults impacted by trauma, violence, and systemic harm. For more than a decade, I worked in a Child Advocacy Center, walking alongside children, teens, adults and their families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.
I continue this work today by providing trauma therapy for Indigenous youth and adults referred through a dedicated advocate, and together we ensure the client receives support that feels safe, steady, and culturally grounded.
In this work, I draw from modalities that support both stabilization and deeper healing, including:
Play Therapy
Sandtray Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for youth
Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Somatic IFS
Whether I ‘m meeting with a youth after a forensic interview or supporting an adult survivor reconnecting with inner safety, my approach is gentle, paced, and grounded in relational trust.
