Walking in Beauty: Notes on Healing, Culture & Connection
Welcome. I’m Florina Clashin, LMSW, a Diné therapist supporting Indigenous adults who are healing from trauma, grief, and disconnection often carried across generations. My work integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and Ecotherapy because healing doesn’t just happen in the mind. It lives in the body, the land, and the spaces where we remember who we are.
This blog is a space to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Here, I share gentle insights and reflections on healing relationships with yourself, your community, and the natural world. Whether you're already in therapy or just beginning to explore what healing could look like, you're welcome here.
Expect short, thoughtful posts on:
Living with grief and reclaiming joy
Finding balance between cultural expectations and personal truth
Reconnecting with nature as a source of grounding and guidance
Working with parts of yourself using IFS and somatic tools
May these words offer you moments of stillness, sparks of remembering, and invitations to walk in beauty—at your own pace, in your own way.
