Who I Work With

I specialize in working with Indigenous clients, BIPOC individuals, and anyone navigating identity, intergenerational pain, or feeing unseen in traditional therapy spaces. Non-native clients seeking grounded, culturally sensitive support are also welcomed.

What I Specialize In

I offer trauma-informed, culturally responsive therapy for adults and teens. My work draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS, EMDR, and Sandtray Therapy, approaches that go beyond surface-level solutions to support deep, lasting healing.

Healing Historical and Generational Trauma

For those carrying pain passed down through family lines, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS, and EMDR to gently explore and unburden inherited wounds. We go at your pace, creating a space where even the deepest stories can be witnessed and healed.

Grief and Loss

Whether your grief is fresh or has been quietly carried for years, it deserves space. Using IFS, Sandtray, Somatic IFS and compassionate presence, we gently explore the layers of your grief without rushing or minimizing it.

Grief isn’t something we “get over.” Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, a version of yourself, or a future you hoped for, loss changes us. Together, we honor what’s been lost while making space for what life looks like now. The goal isn’t to forget, but to integrate, to carry your loss in a way that allows for healing, meaning, and movement forward.

Anxiety and Complex Emotions

Anxiety often shows up as overthinking, people-pleasing, or emotional shutdown. I help you tune into the parts of you that carry this fear using IFS, Somatic IFS, and EMDR so you can respond from calm, rather than react from overwhelm.

Identity and Cultural Belonging

For those navigating life between worlds, whether you're Indigenous, BIPOC, or simply feeling unseen, I offer space to explore your identity and values through a culturally sensitive lens. IFS helps you connect with parts shaped by culture, silence, resilience, and survival.

Life Transitions and Reconnecting With Yourself

Major life changes can bring up old wounds or questions about who you are. Together, we’ll use IFS, Sandtray, and body-based approaches to uncover clarity, compassion, and direction rooted in your truth.

Attachment Wounding and Relational Healing

IFS helps repair internal relational dynamics so you can show up more fully in your relationships, with others and yourself. You’ll learn how to meet your needs without abandoning your truth.

How Identity & Cultural Reality Meet This Work

This is especially true for Indigenous and BIPOC clients who:

  • Spend energy balancing cultural belonging with modern life

  • Carry ancestral grief or silence from family generations

  • Struggle with feeling unseen in mental health spaces

  • Want healing that reflects who they are, not just what's "wrong" or needs to be fixed.

In our work together, healing is not about fixing, but about gently exploring, getting curious, and tending to your inner world with compassion. It’s about reconnecting with the wisdom already inside you, at a pace that feels safe and steady.
